Richard "Rick" Parrish, 52, of Teays Valley
Richard "Rick" Parrish, 52, of Teays Valley, crossed over the everlasting river to join his beloved wife, Evelyn, and his parents Richard and Martha Parrish, on October 16, 2008, at home after a long illness.
He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Lester of Scott Depot; brother, Bruce Parrish of Cross Lanes; stepdaughter, Vickie Bowman of Cross Lanes; stepson, John Rentz of Columbus, Ohio; five step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, his precious dog, Trixie. He is also survived by his aunts; uncles; nephews; nieces; cousins; brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law, all of whom he loved dearly.
Rick had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by all.
Services were held Monday, October 20, at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, who was in charge of arrangements.
